The Institute of Makers of Explosives (IME) is seeking a government affairs professional to advance the Institute’s legislative and regulatory strategy in Washington, DC. Applicants must have exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, be able to conduct thorough research and present accurate analyses, and work well in a small-staff, team environment. Applicants must be able to work collaboratively with members of the Institute, support IME committee processes, leverage coalitions, and have familiarity with the legislative processes and regulatory agencies relevant to the explosives and/or hazardous materials industries.
