PHMSA Revises Class 1 Inspector Checklist -- Necessary Detail Still Missing

PHMSA revised the original version of its checklist guidance for inspectors and asked for industry sign-off prior to redistribution.  IME joined with ASEPO, APA, and ISEE to review the document and submit comments pointing out that the document adds more specificity.  The industry coalition recommended continued collaboration, particularly with CVSA inasmuch as roadside inspectors are the target audience for the guidance.  Click here to view comments chart and coalition letter.
