EPA Offers Flexibility in Applying Boiler Rules

In a play to address the concerns of some in Congress regarding EPA’s boiler rules, the agency has announced that it will increase flexibility in the rules by offering case-by-case applicability determinations.  The agency also announced that it will consider compliance deadline extensions for affected facilities.
