FY 2013 Appropriations -- House Appropriations Committee Reports ATF Funding Legislation

The House Appropriations Committee reported its version of the FY 2013 appropriations for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).  The Committee bill provides $1.153 billion for ATF, unchanged from the Subcommittee mark.  ATF is to prioritize and preserve funding for Violent Crime Impact Teams that aid communities plagued by gang violence.  The bill is one of the first to be reported from the Committee this year.
